What a week for publishing – first JK Rowling, and now Jennifer Doalfer! Any news yet from your editor?
I’d guess that you’re already tingling somewhere, you know where, awaiting the moment of exposure.
And, just for the record, I predict that the story will explore the very fine line between the consensual and the non-consensual, and how the phases of the act flow into each other. Be gentle with yourself.

Maybe you need a more committed editor. It has been five weeks now.
I am very pleased with my editor thank you. I am usually aware of his time constraints and happily accept them.
Having an editor is a very personal thing. The editor suggests changes and points out small mistakes AND corrects my English. My one knows what I want, how much to change, what words not to use because I don't like them etc.
He is also the one to knows me the best, which I think is important if you have to edit in the right way. Getting close to knowing a writers identity is, especially in my case, something to be careful with, so you stick to one you are happy with.
Anyway, he tells me it is almost there.
